Victoria Cross recipient – John Moyney VC
If you like history, you’ll find our John Moyney VC (Victoria Cross) section very interesting. Rare film footage from World War 1, plus an extremely rare radio interview. Who doesn’t like real-life stories of war heroes saving lives!
Corporal Patrick Percival 1943 – 2013 – Irish Defence Forces and Congo veteran.
Paddy Percival joined the Irish Army in 1961 as a young 18-year-old. Two years later he would find himself on a United Nations mission in Africa.
In this section, you will see rare photos from his mission to the Congo in 1963 that were recently discovered!
