The Curragh is a very special place to me. I was born, baptised and went to the Curragh Post-Primary school. (And many other things!) My mam and dad also lived in the Army’s Married Quarters before we moved to Suncroft. It has such a beautiful, unique landscape that is complemented with a richness of various colours throughout the different seasons. It truly is a wonderful place. My spiritual home. I’d like to dedicate this poem to my brother Ciarán who sadly passed away on 13th May 2022.
